As an organization we are committed to serving our community, for without service of the community, we cannot claim to be leaders in the community. This Wednesday evening we will be presented with information from Defy Ventures. They are an organization that works in prisons with inmates who aspire to develop entrepreneurial and career skills. They do this by bringing in qualified volunteers to assist in reviewing resumes, hearing pitches and providing feedback for the inmates to best prepare them for life after release. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer (virtual) please attend this information session and hear more details from the mouth of those who are committed to this work everyday.
